I had an abortion 4 days ago.

I had an abortion 4 days ago. My boyfriend and I had just gotten back together and a month later I found out I was pregnant. We talked about it and he thought it would be best to terminate it since he hadn't been around for our daughter who is 14 now, he hadn't financially supported her and said he couldn't afford another one. I am 35 years old and consider myself a single parent as I had no help from him with our first child. I just went back to college and am half way through. I would not get a job out of school. No one will hire a 9 month pregnant woman. I would have had to resort to welfare and most of all I did not want to raise a child again by myself. So off I went. I had the abortion. It was quite painful but quick and I am still in a lot of pain. When I got home later that day, I laid around on the bed waiting to hear from my boyfriend who was at work. When I finally heard from him, he called to tell me that it wasn't working out between us and that he was leaving again. DEVASTATED!!!!

I am not surprised that you are feeling so bad. At this time you could have done with lots of TLC rather than the bombshell he dropped on you. I hope that you have some support from family or friends but if you need post abortion support it is availablefor post abortion support.
