A baby loss due to chromosomal abnormality

Hi Every One,I recently had a medical termination due to a excessive Chromosomal disorder in my baby. They said that he wouldn't survive and that the only way was to well you know.... as it would not live any way.
It happened 2 and a half weeks ago, we had the funeral last week. They say that you are very fertile.. is this true?
I feel so sad and so does my husband, what seemed to be the most happiest time in our lives turned into the worst nightmare ever. Any of you share the same story?
