I'm 17 years old and want an abortion but my partner doesn't

I’m only 17. Two months pregnant. And I want an abortion.

My boyfriend wants to keep the baby. Because he says it’s his.

What am I going to do? I’m only 17 years old.

The first thing you need to do is visit your nearest pregnancy support centre. You can do this by looking at the Centres page on this website.

At the centre an advisor will spend time with you both, talking through all your options and helping you to talk together about what you want to do.

It’s very important that you are given accurate information about all the options and have time to talk about your feelings so that you can make an informed decision, not one based on fear or panic.

If you can’t visit a centre, then ring your nearest centre to talk to an advisor confidentially.
