They wouldn't remove my gall bladder while I was pregnant

I was 22, I had a 1-year-old little boy, and all through my first pregnancy, I had complications with gallstones and the scare of going into preterm labour at 34 weeks.

When my son was almost a year old I was rushed to hospital with pancreatitis. I had this on a further 2 occasions and was in the hospital for over 2 weeks in total.

In October 2013 I felt horrendously sick and not to do with my gall bladder. I discovered I was pregnant!

Petrified and confused I loved you instantly and looking at your brother I imagined what you would look like in 9 months time!

I spoke to the Drs who told me I needed the operation to remove my gall bladder because I was so poorly but they would not do it while I was pregnant and the risks to you were too great and to myself.

Your dad and I spoke and we agreed, we would have to abort!

I put on a strong face but it kills me daily to not have ever seen your beautiful face, to know if you would have been ginger or dark.

I hope you're safe and please know mummy loves you x
