The condom was not put on properly.

By anonymous on 29/10/2014
Hi,I'm 15. I fear that I might be pregnant with a 16 year old guy who I've known for 4 years.
We had sex and we used condom of course, I made sure he wore one. But it wasn't on completely and it looked like it was about to come off. So when we finished we realized that it wasn't on.
We kind of freaked out and we saw it on the floor, it was broken.
The next day I felt nausea and threw up in the morning and again the day after. I took like 5 pregnancy test and only ONE was negative.
I want to go to a free clinic but I am so scared to find out if I really am pregnant. I don't want to make a mistake like my cousins' did and drop out of school to take care of a baby when I have my life ahead of me, and would like to get an education. I need somebody's advice on what should I do.

You don't normally feel pregnancy symptoms until 5-6 weeks of pregnancy, or about 1-2 weeks after a missed period. You also would not usually test positive for pregnancy until 2-3 weeks after a contraceptive failure. Even with a really sensitive you would need to wait at least 10 days. I would suggest that you go to a clinic to have a pregnancy test done 2 weeks after the event. If you need help finding a clinic in your area please contact CareConfidential, for unplanned pregnancy support. or call the helpline 0300 4000 999.
