medical abortion planned parenthood abortion 8 weeks
I'm 18 years old and I have just taken the abortion pills. I've been reading other women's stories and while I found a few similar to my experience.
I took the first pill mifoprex orally when I went into Planned Parenthood the day before yesterday at about 5pm. I received an ultra sound which indicated I was about 8 weeks and 5 days.
After that I felt normal and decided to go out with my girlfriend to try and get my mind off things. I asked the nurse at the clinic before I left if drinking alcohol would affect the pill and she said probably not, so I decided to have a few drinks that night.
I had felt slight cramping similar to very light period cramps ever since I found out I was pregnant so they hadn't bothered me that night. Yesterday I felt the same until I woke up from a nap to use the restroom and saw that I had started to bleed so I put on a pad.
This was about 5pm. Then about 10 minutes later I felt a heavy drop coming, I sat on the toilet to take a look and it was the biggest blood clot I had ever seen.
I picked it up with a tissue to examine it and it was not just a blood clot I think... It was thick, long, and very dark and bloody. I think it might have been my unborn fetus.
After that at about 6pm I took a narco and a benadryll pill for nausea. About 20 minutes later I put the 4 misoprostal pills in between my lips and bottom gums while sucking on mints to take away the disgusting taste.
After 30 minutes I swallowed the rest of the pills and I immediately felt the worst pain of my life. It was like period cramps x20. My back and lower stomach were killing me, I couldn't even stand up straight. I immediately ran to the toilet and threw my guts up about 5 times then lay down to try and sleep this almost unbearable pain away.
I put a heating pad on my lower stomach and tossed and turned around my bed because no position made me feel any better. I finally fell asleep for about an hour and when I woke up I felt better but nowhere near okay. I did not want to talk to anyone I just locked myself in my room and lay in my bed with nothing but underwear and a heating pad on. I finally got back to sleep again.
I woke up this morning feeling sooooo much better yet I am still bleeding heavily. Cramping is still there but feels like nothing close to last night. Although it was terrible to go through, it was quick and I'm somewhat relieved.
My advice to any one about to go through this process
- Do not stuff your face with pizza before taking the pills (I threw it all up immediately after).
- Heating pads, heating pads, heating pads. They are gonna be your best friend.
- Have cold water to drink.
- The less clothes, the better.
- Have something cool to put on your forehead because the heat from the heating pad made me hot as hell.
I hope this info helps ladies.
