Please don't give up. Read my story about being laid off in June and 14 weeks pregnant. Your story is that you and your bf are in a loving relationship. When I got pregnant, my on and off again bf of 12 years (since High school) and I were not together and it was rough. I even took the morning after pill, but apparently that didn't work. It was a very stressful time, but as I look at my 14 week old daughter who looks just like me and is super advanced, I thank God I didn't abort.
As I prepare to go back to work next month, and yes I have a good career as a physician, I realize that I am more motivated to work now simply because of her. I want to show her so much and provide for her and being her mom is better than being a doctor. However, you can have it all.
What I want to say to you is that there are tons of resources to help you. I found a crisis pregnancy centre and they pretty much gave me a baby shower and continue to help me to this day.
Also you may plan for better financially and then try for another child and possibly cannot become pregnant. Really just pray about the decision. I was back and forth with mine, but am so happy I chose her life. She redefines me and I'm only 29 still leaving at home until I can buy my dream house. I hope the best for you.
