Symptoms in pregnancy

By anonymous on 08/12/2011
I'm not sure if I'm pregnant yet, because it's only 2 days ago I have had sex. Is it too early to get symptoms, because my stomach is hurting but it's not hurting on the bottom just in the middle as if I was hungry?

You would not normally get any symptoms until you are about 5-6 weeks pregnant, counting from the first day of your last period. You usually have to wait 2 weeks after unprotected sex before a pregnancy test shows up, and symptoms may start about a week after that. If you continue to get pain you should see your GP, and any continuous pain in pregnancy should always be checked out by a health professional.
