Two medical abortions in 15 months

My first medical abortion was last year July 2010 with clots and cramps for about 5 days.. and my next period was a little delayed only may be around 45 days .. I had my second abortion on October 29th 2011 and I was bleeding for 3 days with cramps.... but I had no clots... it's 38 days from my abortion date (Oct 30th 2011) till now and I didn't get my next period. It can sometimes be about 6 weeks before you have a period, but you should also do a repeat pregnancy test to check whether the abortion was completed. If you have had unprotected sex since your abortion then you should wait 2 weeks from that time and do a pregnancy test. It must have been difficult for you to go through 2 abortions in just over a year, and I wonder if you have asked your doctor or contraceptive clinic about long acting contraceptions that are very effective.
