A 15 year old girl who is worried about her decision to abort.

By anonymous on 18/11/2011
Hello, I'm 15 years old and I'm pregnant. My boyfriend is also 15 and when he found out he knew I had to have an abortion and has supported me the whole time.
I am now about 6 weeks gone and I am going to a clinic in a week and to take an abortion pill.

I am against abortion but know it would be the right thing to do.

I found out that at the clinic I am going to have a scan but I know once I see the image I'm not going to want to abort. I feel there's no one to talk to as my friends aren't the supporting type, and neither are my parents, and although my boyfriend is there I feel he doesn't understand how I feel. Do I do what I want or what's best for everyone?

Editor's Comment

I am concerned about your comments that you are against abortion, and that if you saw the scan image you would not want to abort. This would be very painful for you to go through because you feel it is what others want you to do. I think that before you make a final choice you should sit down with someone independent, who can talk you through the options and how you are feeling. In the end it is you that will have to live with this decision longterm, so you have to know that it is the right decision for you. Please contact us if we can help you with this very important decision. find a centre for pregnancy choices support in your area.
