I'm 16 years old and had a one night stand with a 25 year old.
I am 99% sure I am pregnant as I am 5 days late and I also have mild cramps, feel nauseous and am tired more than I used to be.
The 25 year old is a family friend's son so we actually talk quite a bit but he doesn't know yet. I am too scared to tell him as that will mean my family need to know and they don't even know we slept together.
I sort of hope I am pregnant because I would love a child. I would still stay in school of course even though it isn't ideal. The only problem is my family may be the ones left at home looking after it if the dad doesn't get involved.
Editor's CommentThe first thing you need to do is get a pregnancy test so that you can confirm whether you are definitely pregnant. If it does turn out to be positive, you will need to tell your family. It may feel frightening to face their reactions, but in the end they will want to help and support you. If you need some help or support with the pregnancy test or telling your family CareConfidential can help you. You could call the national helpline, look for a local centre, or log on to Online advisor for confidential help. for unplanned pregnancy support.
