I just turned 16 years old, and found out I'm 7 weeks pregnant.

I just turned 16 years old, and found out I'm 7 weeks pregnant. I want to keep the baby but I don't know if I'm going to be responsible enough.. I'm really emotional about this since at first I was set on keeping the baby. I reflected about if I'm ready or not, and then thought I am.
Now my boyfriend and mom said that they want me to think more about it. And I'm not sure. I don't want to have a problem with money if I decide to keep the baby either. I'm just feeling really emotional and scared because I feel like I will blame my boyfriend if I regret abortion, and I'm scared I will regret keeping the baby. But to be honest, I probably will keep the baby.

Editor's Comment

It is a big decision for you to be facing at 16, and you will need plenty of support if you are going to keep your baby. It is hard to live with regret so I would encourage you to talk your decision through with someone independent, so that you are not pressurised into a decision you are not happy about. If you would like support around making this decision you can log into Online advisor. for unplanned pregnancy support.
