I think I could be pregnant

By anonymous on 27/12/2014
I think I could be pregnant and am going to do a test tomorrow and have already looked up about abortions. I have already decided that the medical abortion method would be best for me but I am really scared about the whole experience and I have no idea how to get the medical abortion.
I'm kind of every where about it. I am getting really worked up about the whole thing and I'm not sleeping very much and I don't know what to do I'm just so scared about the whole thing as I'm not very good with doctors and hospitals. I have never been in a situation like this before, I'm just finding it all so scary and I don't really want to talk to any one about it either because I don't want any one to force me into changing me decision. Can you help ease my mind and help me know what to do if I am pregnant and what to do and where to go to to get a medical abortion?

The first thing to do is find out whether you are definitely pregnant, and a pregnancy test is usually accurate 2-3 weeks after unprotected sex. If you are pregnant, it is always worth talking your options through with someone. If you go to a pregnancy practitioner they are not there to make you change your decision but to help you to think through the choices you have and be sure about your decision. You access abortion through your GP or a sexual health clinic, and if you need help to find these please contact CareConfidential, for support around unprotected sex.
