I'm 15 and worried 6 days after unprotected sexual intercourse

By anonymous on 09/03/2014

I am 15 years old girl. I had unprotected sexual intercourse 6 days ago.

Are there any drugs that I can take to prevent me from falling pregnant?

My father would kill me if I came home with a baby.

I'm afraid emergency contraception only works up to 5 days after unprotected sexual intercourse. After this, if there was a fertilised egg it can implant into the womb and the pregnancy is established. You will need to wait until just after your period was due. If you don't have a normal period you should have a pregnancy test done to check whether you are pregnant. You can get this done at a young person's clinic, a pregnancy choices centre, or buy one at a local pharmacy.
