They were both positive but two days later I started my period

I’m fourteen and I have done two pregnancy tests. They were both positive but two days later I started my period. I’m really scared. I don’t want to tell my mum; she will go mad. Please help me.

Thanks for writing in…The important thing is that you tell someone – a trusted adult, even if it’s not your mum at first. A teacher, social worker or youth worker, for example. They can then advise you about having a pregnancy test done to confirm any previous positive result or ensure that you have medical attention. Alternatively, you can find your nearest centre to either visit or ring them first to talk to discuss your situation anonymously.
